Masala Egg rice
Preparation Method :-
1. Boiled eggs - 4
2. Rice - 2 cups
3. Onions - 2
4. Ginger - 2 inch
5. Bay leaf - 1
6. Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
7. Mace - 1
8. Cloves - 39
9. Green chilies - 2
10. Garlic - 10 small pods
11. Tomato - 1
12. Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
13. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
14. Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
15. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
16. Curd - 1/4 cup
17. Water - 4 cups
18. Salt - 1 tbsp or as per taste.
Preparation Method :-
1. Take a small vessel. Add oil to it.
2. Once its hot, add Cloves, Cinnamon stick, mace.
3. Add green chilies, ginger and garlic.
4. Add 1 sliced onion and fry for a minute.
5. Add half tomato and fry for 2 minutes.
6. Add coriander leaves anf fry for a minute.
7. Add salt and fry for 5 minutes.
8. Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
9. Once it cools down, grind it into mixer grinder without adding water.
10. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
11. Peel the boiled eggs.
12. Take a pressure cooker, add oil to it.
13. Fry boiled eggs for 5 minutes.
14. Remove boiled eggs. Add little oil if required.
15. Once it hot, add bay leaf, green chilies and 1 sliced onion.
16. Fry them for 3 minutes and add half sliced tomato. Fry till mashed.
17. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder and red chilly powder and fry for 2 minutes.
18. Add grinded paste and fry till it oozes oil .
19. Add curd and mix well.
20. Add water and salt and mix well. Check salt and add more if required.
21. Once the water comes to boil, add rice and mix well.
22. Add boiled eggs and close the lid.
23. Give it 3 whistles and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
