Dahi wade


Ingredients :-

1. Urad dal - 1 cup

2. Salt - 1/2 tsp

3. Oil to deep fry.

4. Curd - 4-5 cups

5. Sugar - 3 tbsp

6. Tamarind chutney

7. Green chutney

8. Ketchup

9. Chat masala

10. Chilly powder

11. Coriander leaves

Preparation method:-

1. Soak Urad dal in water for 2 hrs.

2. After 2 hrs drain the water from urad dal.

3. Grind urad dal in wet grinder or mixer grinder till its smooth paste. Add very little water little by little till its consistency is smooth like a thick paste but not flowing.

4. Add salt while grinding. Once done, take it out in a bowl.

5. Heat oil in a vessel to deep fry.

6. Wet your palms with little water.

7. Take small quantity of urad dal paste in your hand and leave it in oil like a dumpling. Oil should be in medium flame.

8. Once it turns golden brown , take it out on tissue paper.

9. Prick it with tooth pic to makes holes , so it can soak well in curd.

10. Once all dumplings are done, add them to a bowl and add sweetened curd to it. (Mix curd and sugar well with little water to make sweetened curd).Curd should not be thick,so it can get into dumplings properly.

11. Leave it like that for 3-4 hrs. Add little more curd if required.

12. To serve , Take a bowl, add 3 curd dumplings to it.

13. Add tamarind chutney and green chutney on top of it.

14. Add ketch up, chat masala, chilly powder and chopped coriander leaves.
