Mushroom starter
Ingredients :-
1. Mushrooms - Medium size (500 gms)
2. Capsicum - 1/2
3. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
4. Salt to taste
5. All purpose flour - 5tbsp
6. Rice flour - 1 tbsp
7. Onion - 1 medium
8. Ketchup - 3 tbsp
9. Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
10. Red chilly flakes - 1 tbsp
11. Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Preparation Method :-
1. Wash mushrooms and remove the stems.
2. Cut into into half or four parts.
3. Cut capsicum and onion into cube shapes.
4. Take a bowl, add all purpose flour, 1 tbsp corn flour and rice flour . Add little water to it to make a slurry. Add a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp pepper powder.
5. Heat oil in a vessel. Once the oil is hot, dip the mushrooms in the slurry and add to the oil to deep fry it. Once they turn light brown, take them out on tissue paper.
6. Take a pan, add little oil to it.
7. Add red chilly flakes, diced onion to the pan. Fry for a minute. Add diced capsicum.
8. Fry for 2 minutes. Add deep fried mushrooms.
9. Add ketchup, chat masala and salt to taste.
10. Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder.
11. Take 1 tsp corn flour and add little water to it. Make a slurry and add to the pan to thicken the mushroom.
12. Mix it well and fry for 5 more minutes. Serve hot.
