Fish pulav
Ingredients :-
1. Fish fillets (Without thorns/bones) - 2
2. Rice - 1 cup (Washed)
3. Whole garam masala (cinnamon stick-1 inch, cardamom - 2, star anise - 1, bay leaf - 1)
4. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
5. Green chilies (Slit) - 2
6. Sliced onions - 1
7. Biryani masala - 1 tsp (Chicken biryani or fish biryani)
8. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
9. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
10. Salt to taste
11. Curd - 2 tbsp
12. Coriander and mint leaves
13. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
For marination -
1. Salt - 1/2 tsp
2. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
3. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
4. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
5. Lime juice - 1 tbsp
6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Preparation method :-
1. Take fish fillets in a bowl and wash them.
2. Add all the marination ingredients and keep it aside for an hour.
3. After an hour, take a pan, add oil to it and fry marinated fish for 5 minutes and set aside.
4. Take a pressure cooker on the stove, and add oil to it.
5. Once its hot, add whole garam masala, cumin seeds , green chilies. Fry them for a minute.
6. Add sliced onions. Fry them till they are golden brown.
7. Add ginger garlic paste and fry it for 2 minutes.
8. Add garam masala powder, biryani masala, turmeric powder, salt and fry for 30 seconds and add 2 cups of water.
9. Once water comes to boil, add rice. mix it well.
10. Slowly put fried fish fillets in the water and leave.
11. Add chopped coriander and mint leaves.
12. Add curd and cover it with lid.
13. Let it give 3 whistles . Remove fish fillets carefully and serve hot.
