Bread chat
Ingredients:-
1. Bread slices - 4
2. Butter - 2 tbsp
3. Boiled potato - 3 medium size
4. Chat masala - to sprinkle
5. Chilly powder - to sprinkle
6. Salt - a pinch
7.Finely chopped onion - 1 to garnish
8. Chopped tomato - 1 seedless
9. Tamarind chutney
10. Green chutney
11. Curd - 2 tbsp
Preparation Method :-
1. Take bread slices and cut the sides.
2. Toast the bread slices till slight brown.
3. Cut bread slices into 4 pieces to make 4 squares.
4. Apply butter on each piece.
5. Cut boiled potato into round shape.
6. Put the slices of potato on each bread piece.
7. Sprinkle chat masala, salt and chilly powder on sliced potato.
8. Add finely chopped onion and chopped tomato on sliced potato.
9. Garnish them with tamarind chutney, green chutney and curd.
10. Sprinkle chat masala on all slices on top.
11. Add sev mixture and pomogranate seeds on top. (Optional)
For tamarind chutney - Soak tamarind in 1 cup water to make puree. Make sure its thick puree and not tamarind juice.Add 1 tbsp chat masala to it and boil it.
Once its boiled add 2 tbsp sugar and mix it well. Boil for 2 more minutes till sugar is dissolved.Let it cool down. Add more sugar as per requirement.
For green chutney:- Take small bunch of coriander leaves into blender. Add 10 mint leaves. Add 2 tbsp curd, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp cumin powder and 2 tbsp water. Blend it well. Can add half onion for thicker texture.
