Ivy Gourd(dondakai, Kundru) chutney
Ingredients:
1. Ivy gourd - 250gms
2. Red chilies - 4
3. Green chilies - 2
4. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
5. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
6. Urad dal - 1 tbsp
7. Tamarind - 1 inch
8. Garlic - 4-5 cloves
Preparation method:
1. Take a pan, add oil to it.
2. Once its hot, add urad dal, green chillies, red chilies, garlic, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fry them for 2 mins.
3. Add chopped ivy gourd to it and cover it.
4. Keep mixing in between to avoid burning.
5. Once they are cooked which will take 15-20 mins, let them to cool.
6. Take them in mixer grinder, add salt and tamarind and grind them to a paste. Serve with rice and ghee.
