Sweet rice


Ingredients:

1. Basmati rice - 1 cup

2. Sugar - 1 cup

3. Milk - 1 tbsp

4. Ghee - 2 tbsp

5. Kesar - a pinch or food color - a pinch

6. Dry fruits - almonds, cashews, raisins.

7. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp

Preparation method:

1. Boil basmati rice till 80% boiled.

2. Add sugar to it and let it boil on slow flame. Add ghee to it.

3. Add kesar or food color to milk and add to boiling rice.

4. Fry dry fruits in ghee and add to boiling rice.

5. Add cardamom powder.

6. Once properly cooked, turn off the flame and serve.
