Potato fritter with tangy twist


Preparation time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

1. Gram flour - 1 cup

2. Potato - 2 small

3. Salt to taste

4. Cumin powder - 1 tsp

5. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp

6. Carom seeds - 1/ tsp

7. Chat masala - 2 tsp

8. Onion - 1 finely chopped

9. Lemon juice - 2 tbsp

Preparation method:

1. Take a bowl, add gram flour to it.

2. Add salt, red chilly powder, cumin powder, chat masala, carom seeds and mix it well.

3. Add little water to make it into a paste. It should not be of flowing consistency or thick as well.

4. Cut potatoes into thin slices.

5. Take a vessel and add oil to it to deep fry potatoes.

6. Once the oil is hot, dip the slices of potato in the batter and put it into the oil.

7. Fry it till its golden brown, and remove it from the oil.

8. Cut onions into small pieces, add lemon juice and chat masala to it.

9. Now cut potato fritter( bajji) from top little bit to make it look like a pocket.

10. Put chopped onion into that pocket and serve.
