Paneer tikki


Preparation time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

1. Paneer - 250 gms

2. Green Capsicum - 2

3. Tomato - 2

4. Red onions - 2

5. Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp

6. Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste

7. Coriander powder and cumin powder - 1 tsp

8. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp

9. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp

10. Hung curd (yogurt without moisture) - 1 cup

11. Red food colour - pinch ( optional)

12. Chat masala

13. Lemon juice - 5 tbsp

Preparation method:

1.Cut paneer into medium pieces like cubes.

2. Cut capsicum and onions into square or triangle shape.

3. Remove seeds from tomato and cut them into square or triangle shape.

4. Now take 2 separate bowls, add paneer to 1 bowl and all cut veggies in one bowl. Put aside.

5. Take a bowl and add all spices to it i.e salt, red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder.

6. Add hung curd in spices and mix it well. This is the marination for tikka.

7. Add half of this marination to paneer and the other half to the veggies and mix it well.

8. Add 2 tbsp of lemon juice to paneer bowl and 2 tbsp of lemon juice to veggies.

9. Add 1 tbsp of oil to paneer bowl and 1 tbsp of oil to veggie bowl and mix it well.

10. Now take a tooth pic, prick one onion cube to it first, then paneer piece and then tomato. Do it for all tooth pics.

11. Once all kababs are ready, brush little oil to them and put them in the oven at grill mode. Put the temp. to 180 degree Celsius .

12. Kababs will take around 20 - 30 mins to cook. Turn them once in between.

13. Once done sprinkle little chat masala and lemon juice on them. Serve hot.
