Fish cutlet
Preparation time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
1. Fish fillets - 2 (Without bones, preferably salmon or king fish)
2. Onion - 1 big and finely chopped
3. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
4. Green chilies - 2 chopped
5. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
6. Coriander leaves - few finely chopped
7. Egg - 1
8. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
9. Salt - to taste
10. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
11. Bread crumbs - 3/4 cup
12. Boiled and mashed potato - 1
Preparation method:
1. Boil fish fillets with little water for 10 mins till its cooked. Don't use more water as the fillets might break. Just enough water to make sure fillets does not burn.
2. Once its cooled down and all the water is evaporated , take a bowl and mash the boiled fillets.
3. Add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, coriander leaves and mix it well.
4. Add little salt as fillets will have salt already.
5. Add garam masala powder and lemon juice and mix it well.
6. Add boiled and mashed potatoes, mix it well.
7. Break the egg and add to the bowl, mix it well.
8. Now add bread crumbs. Check if the mixture is too sticky add more bread crumbs and mix it well.
9. Make tikkis out of the mixture and set aside.
10. Take a pan, add little oil to it. Once the oil is hot, add tikkis to it.
11. Let them fry for 5 - 7 mins on low flame and then turn them. Let them fry for 5-7 mins more.
12. Once cooked, take them out and serve hot with ketch up.
