Chicken & Cheese balls
Preparation time: 1 hour 30 mins
Ingredients:
1. Chicken breast - 250 grams
2. Ginger - 1 tbsp finely chopped
3. Garlic - 1 tbsp finely chopped
4. Onions - 1 small chopped
5. Butter - 1tbsp
6. Red chilly flakes - 2 tbsp
7. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
8. Sugar - 1/4 tsp
9. Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
10. Egg - 1
11. Milk - 1 tbsp
12. Maida - 2 tbsp
13. Corn flour - 1 tbsp
14. Bread crumbs - 1 cup
15. Salt to taste
Preparation method:
1. Take a pan and saute ginger and garlic in it.
2. Now take a blender and add pieces of chicken breast to it.
3. Add ginger, garlic and chopped onions to it. 4. Blend chicken, ginger, garlic and onions coarsely in blender. Add little salt while blending.
5. Take the mixture out in the bowl and add 1 tbsp butter to it.
6. Add red chilly flakes, red chilly powder, sugar, baking soda, Egg yolk to it and mix it well. Cover it and put it in refrigerator for 30 mins.
7. In another bowl, add remaining egg white and add 1 tbsp of milk and mix it well.
8. Take one more bowl, add 2 tbsp of maida and 1 tbsp corn flour and mix it well.
9. In a different bowl add bread crumbs.
10. For stuffing, take cheese in a bowl and add any flavoring to it like pizza flavoring or oregano.
11. Now to make balls, take little oil in the palms and rub it. Take little chicken mixture , flatten it , put little cheese in it and give it a shape of a ball. Do it with whole chicken mixture and make cheese stuffed chicken balls.
12. Roll the ball in egg white and milk mixture first. Roll it in the maida mixture and finally coat it with bread crumbs. Put the balls in fridge for 30 minutes.
13. Now deep fry the balls. Take them out of oil when turned brown. Don't deep fry for longer as cheese may come out.
14. Fry it just before serving and serve hot with ketchup.
