Cauliflower 65
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1. Cauliflower 100-250 gms or 1/4th of big cauliflower - cut into pieces.
2. All purpose flour (maida) - 3 tbsp
3. Corn flour - 4 tbsp
4. Salt - a pinch
5. Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
6. Chat masala - 1 tbsp
7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
8. Finely chopped curry leaves - 2 tbs
9. Finely chopped coriander leaves
10. Oil to deep fry and ketchup for serving.
Preparation method:
1. Boil cauliflower pieces in hot water for 3 mins. Once done take them out and drain the water.
2. Take a bowl, add maida to it.
3. Add corn flour, salt, red chilly powder, salt, chat masala, ginger garlic paste, chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well.
4. Add little water and make a thick batter out of it.
5. Add cauliflower pieces to it and coat it well.
6. Take a vessel and add oil to it. Once it hot, deep fry cauliflower in it.
7. Take them out on tissue paper once they turn golden brown.
8. Again deep fry them in the same oil for 2 mins, adding in turns little by little. Add curry leaves while frying, it will give good flavour. Deep frying twice will make it crunchy.
10. Serve hot with ketchup.
