Baby corn pakoda


Preparation time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

1. Baby corn - 10-15

2. Gram flour (Besan) - 5 tbsp

3. Rice flour - 1 tbsp

4. Cumin powder - 1 tsp

5. Chilly powder - 1 tsp

6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp

7. Salt to taste

8. Oil for frying

9. Carom seeds (ajwain ) - 1 tsp

Preparation method:

1. Take gram flour and rice flour into a bowl.

2. Add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder, carom seeds to it and mix it well.

3. Add little water to make it a thick batter.

4. Boil baby corn for around 15 mins in water and let it cool.

5. Meanwhile add oil to the pan to deep fry baby corn.

6. Once bay corn is cooled down cut it into halves vertically .

7. Dip the baby corn 1 by 1 and deep fry into the oil.

8. Once it turns dark golden brown take it out of the oil and put it on tissue paper to soak excess oil.

9. Sprinkle chat masala and lemon juice on it.

10. Garnish with onions and coriander leaves and serve hot.
