Bread Gulab jamun
Ingredients:
1. Bread slices - 6-8
2. Milk - 6 tbsp or more if required
3. Raisins - depends on no. of gulab jamun balls
4. Sugar - 1 cup
5. Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
6. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Preparation method:
1. Take bread slices and cut the sides.
2. In a bowl, mash the bread slices and add 2 tbsp of milk to it.
3. Mash it and add 2 more tbsp of milk.
4. Keep mashing and mixing while adding milk till it becomes soft to make balls.
5. Once you think its at the right consistency to make balls stop adding milk. 6. Make small balls out of it and set aside.
7. To make sugar syrup, take water in a vessel and add sugar, cardamom powder and let it boil.
8. In another vessel heat the oil.
9. Once its hot, add gulab jamun balls and fry them till they turn golden brown.
10. Take them on tissue paper.
11. Add the fried balls to the sugar syrup and boil for 2 mins.
12. Let the jamuns soak in sugar syrup and serve .
