Mango Pudding
Ingredients:
1. White bread - 1 small packet
2. Custard - 2 cups - Custard powder - 2 tbsp Milk - 2 cups Sugar - 1-2 tbsp 3. Mango puree - 2 cups
4. Chopped nuts - almonds, cashews, walnuts, raisins.
Preparation method:
To prepare custard :-
1. Take 1/2 cup milk and add custard powder to it and mix it well to make a paste.
2. Boil rest of the milk in a pan.
3. Once the milk is hot add custard paste to it add let it boil for around 20 mins.
4. Add sugar to it and mix it well. You can add more sugar depending upon your taste.
5. Once cooked remove from flame and let it cool. Custard should not be thick as bread has to soak it. Dilute it with milk.
To prepare pudding :-
1. Take a tray or a plate, with spoon spread the custard across the tray.
2. Now cut the sides of the white bread and place them on the tray side by side without any spaces.
3. Pour custard across the bread again. On that layer pour mango puree throughout.
4. Add chopped nuts on the mango puree.
5. Put another layer of bread on it.
6 Add custard and mango puree again. Add chopped nuts on the top. Garnish with red cherries.
