Holi special Malpua

Ingredients:

1. All purpose flour ( maida) - 1 cup

2. Baking powder - 1 tsp

3. Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp

4. Milk - 1/2 cup

5. Water - 1 cup

6. Sugar - 1 cup

7. Ghee for shallow fry.

8. Dry fruits for garnishing.

Preparation method:

1. To make sugar syrup :- Take 1 cup water and add 1 cup sugar. Boil it for 10 mins to make it thick. Once its boiled and thick, remove it from the flame and let it cool down.

2. Take all purpose flour in one bowl.

3. Add baking powder and powdered sugar to it.

4. Whisk it well and start adding milk little by little to maintain consistency.

5. Once the batter is in pouring consistency stop adding milk.

6. Take a non stick pan, add 2 tbsp ghee to it.

7. Once ghee is hot, add small amount of batter to the pan let the batter cook in ghee for 3-4 mins.

8. Now turn it to let it cook on other side.

9. Once it turns brown, remove it from the pan and prick it with fork so that sugar syrup gets inside it.

10. Now dip it into sugar syrup for 3-4 mins and take it out.

11. Garnish with dry fruits.
