Fruit phirni

Ingredients:

For phirni -

1. Milk - 1/2 liter

2. Sugar - 1/2 cup

3. Basmati rice - 1 cup

For fruit phirni :-

1. Fruits - Banana, apple, pear or any other fruits which does not oozes water.

2. White bread slices

3. Sugar syrup

4. Almonds, pistachio and raisins for garnishing

Preparation method:

For phirni :-

1. Soak Basmati rice in water for around 15-20 mins.

2. Grind the rice in mixer just once. Do not mash it.

3. Boil milk in the pan and add rice to it.

4. Let it cook and then add sugar and mix well.

5. Once its cooked remove from flame and let it cool down. Consistency of phirni should be thick.

For fruit phirni :-

1. Cut all fruits into small pieces.

2. Add sugar to the water and mix it well till it dissolves.

3. Add all chopped fruits to the sugar syrup.

4. Cut the sides of bread slices .

5. Soak the bread into sugar syrup once. Take the bread slice out and press it between the palms to drain out the syrup.

6. Put all chopped fruits into bread slice and fold it like an oval ball.

For plating :-

1. Put little phirni into the bowl.

2. Put fruit stuffed bread slice on the phirni.

3. Again pour little phirni on it and garnish with dry fruits.
