Tomato Chutney


Ingredients:

1. Tomatoes - 4 medium size

2. Garlic cloves - 5 cloves

3. Ginger - 2 inch - chopped it

4. Curry leaves - 2 springs

5. Salt to taste

6. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

7. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

8. Whole red chilies - 3

9. Green chilies - 2

10. Red chilly powder - optional in case need more spicy.

Preparation method:

1. Chop the tomatoes into four pieces.

2. Take a pan, add oil to it.

3. Once the pan is hot, add cumin seeds, green chilies, red chilies. curry leaves, garlic cloves, chopped ginger and fry them for 2 mins.

4. Add chopped tomatoes and fry them for 5 mins.

5. Add salt, soaked tamarind and coriander leaves .

6. Grind the mixture into the blender once it cool down.

7. Take a pan, add oil.

8. Once it is hot, add mustard oil and curry leaves.

9. Add the blended mixture and fry it for a minute.

10. Can add chilly powder if need to be more spicy.
