Masala Mushroom
Ingredients:
1. Mushrooms - 250 gms
2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
3. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
4. Green chilies - 3
5. Onions - 2 chopped
6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
8. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
9. Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
10. Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
11. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
12. Tomatoes - 2 chopped
13. Butter - 2 tbsp
14. Garlic - 4-5 cloves
15. Crushed pepper - 1 tbsp
16. Curry leaves - 7-8 leaves
17. Coriander leaves
18. Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
19. Salt to taste
20. Capsicum - 1/2 (Medium Slices)
Preparation method:
1. Take a pan, add oil to it. Add mustard and cumin seeds. Let them splutter. 2. Add green chilies and chopped onions. Let them fry till little brown.
3. Add turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Let it fry properly.
4. Add chopped mushrooms, capsicum and add salt to it. Cover it and let it cook.
5. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilly powder, garam masala powder and mix it well.
6. Add chopped tomatoes and cover it again. Let it cook till its mashed. Add lemon juice.
7. In a different pan, add butter.
8. Once its hot, add garlic cloves to it and let them fry for a min.
9. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves, crushed pepper and fry them for a minute.
10. Add this mixture to the mushrooms and mix it well. You can add little water for gravy.
11. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or naan.
