Masala Chicken curry


Ingredients:

For Masala -

Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp Bay leaves - 2-3 Black pepper - few Cinnamon - 1 stick cumin - 1 tbsp

2. Chopped onions - 1-2 medium

3. Green chilies - 2-3

4. Ginger garlic paste - 1tbsp

5. Chopped tomatoes - 1 - 2 medium

6. Red chilly powder - 2-3 tsp

7. Chicken - 1 kg

8. Coriander powder, cumin powder, chicken masala - 1 tbsp

9. Chopped coriander leaves.

Preparation method:

1. For Masala :- (a) Take a pan for dry roasting. Add coriander seeds to it. (b) Add bay leaves , black pepper, cumin and cinnamon stick. (c) Dry roast these for around 1 min. (d) Once its cooled down , grind it in the blender and keep aside.

2. Take a pan and add oil to it. Add cumin seeds.

3. Add chopped onions and green chilies to it and let it fry for some time. Add ginger garlic paste to it and fry it for 2 minutes.

4. Add chopped tomatoes and cover it with lid and let it cook for 10 minutes. Keep stirring in between.

5. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chicken masala to it and fry it for some time.

6. Add chicken to it. Mix it properly, cover it and let it cook for come time.

7. Add the blended masala to it when chicken oozes water. Let it cook for 20 min more.

8. Add coriander leaves and mix it. Garnish with coriander leaves.
