Kadai mutton curry
Ingredients:
1. Mutton - 500 gms
2. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
3. Onions - 2 big (Sliced)
4. Tomatoes - 2 big ( Sliced)
5. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
6. For kadai masala :- 3 red chilies, 1 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 2 tbsp of coriander seeds, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp kasturi methi and dry roast it.
7. Curd - 1/2 cup
8. Red chilly powder - 3-4 tbsp.
9. Chopped coriander.
Preparation method:
1. Take a cooker and add oil to it.
2. Once the oil is hot add cumin seeds to it and let them splutter.
3. Add sliced onions to it and fry them for 5 mins.
4. Add Ginger garlic paste and let it fry for 5 mins till its brown.
5. Add mutton pieces and add salt to it. It will ooze lot of water.
6. Add sliced tomatoes to it and let it cook for 20 mins.
7. Meanwhile to prepare kadai masala, take a pan and once its hot add whole red chilies to it. Add whole pepper, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, kasturi methi and dry roast it for 3 minutes. Take them out and once they cool down grind them in a blender.
8. Once the onions and tomatoes are cooked add kadai masala to it and mix it well.
9. Add curd on a slow flame and mix well.
10. Add red chilly powder to it. Mix it well.
11. Now cover it and give 7-8 whistles.
12. Add chopped coriander and mix it well.
13. Serve hot with rice or roti.
